BERKMAN WINS PRSA SILVER ANVIL AWARD
Agency Gains National Recognition for Innovation and Creativity for Jabra 2005 Media Relations Campaign

BERKMAN, a national public relations, marketing and branding firm, is the recipient of this year’s prestigious Silver Anvil Award, sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). The Silver Anvil, which recognizes outstanding achievement in strategic public relations planning and implementation, was presented during the Silver Anvil Awards Evening held June 8 in New York City.

“The PRSA Silver Anvil Awards are the highest watermark of success for any public relations practitioner,” said David M. Imre, APR, 2006 PRSA Silver Anvil chair. “We congratulate BERKMAN for its public relations program on behalf of Jabra North America that incorporated measurable and sound research, planning, execution and evaluation. BERKMAN received the 2006 PRSA Silver Anvil Award for excellence in its 2005 Media Relations campaign on behalf of Jabra North America in the Marketing Consumer Products Technology category.

Concentrating on North America media and consumers, the 2005 campaign executed for Jabra resulted in exponentially increased sales and over 1,100 media placements totaling more than 1.3 billion gross impressions.

The Silver Anvil Awards has grown in scope and stature since its inception in 1946. The Silver Anvils are awarded to programs in 54 categories.
